Lesson Notes

Negation:

  • ne + [ conjugated verb ] + pas = negation
    • eg. Je ne parle pas allemande (I do not speak german)
  • ne + [ conjugated verb ] + jamais = negation/never
    • eg. Je ne parle jamais allamande (I never speak german)

Saying which city you live in:

  • You use the a + city name
    • eg. J'habite a Athens (I live in Athens)
